SOB Volleyball - Day 2

Today was a two client day at South of the Border Volleyball, I had the pleasure of shooting people in both the morning and afternoon sessions. Having two clients on the same day made me very aware of the light. The quality is similar during both periods, but the color is very different. The low, slanting light makes for some difficult shooting conditions. My subject is either fully illuminated or totally backlit. I've discovered manual exposure mode is the way to go. I am able to select settings for both conditions and change from one to the other as the teams change sides every seven points.
