Damn and Blast

Or words to that effect...started off the day badly..the kitchen mixer tap refused to spit out any hot water..so waiting now for the next two dramatic events..they come in threes at our house LOL. For some reason the circlip on the tap shaft had dislodged, so it simply wouldn't turn on from the off position. Unfortunately the stupid plumber who designed our system, has made the hot stop tap inaccessible, so all I can do to change a washer etc is drain down the entire cylinder of hot water each time, after turning off the main stop tap...bah humbug. Just finished it thankfully, grateful for the fact I can do these jobs, avoiding lashing out a fortune to a plumber(g)
