A Day Worth Recording

Drums

Tonight was the last parent's evening for us at Sawston Village College after nine years and three sons.

When we were first weighing up the local secondary schools we knew Sawston has a good reputation for music but largely ignored that - it was the college's science & technology skills and it's open and inclusive ethos that attracted us.

What we utterly underestimated was the ability of their music department to enthuse and inspire and to bring forth skills and performances that we never knew were there. Yes, SVC absolutely delivered on the science and technology, but with added spirit.

Thus it was a pleasure, this evening, to make a small but warmly welcomed donation to the music dept. of these drums I no longer use.

Thanks Janet
