I though better of going out on a Blip hunt at lunchtime...

This shot was taking out the window (later on) and looking towards Ben Wyvis... at least it's in the correct direction. The "Ben" is hidden about twenty miles away through all that gloom, and is no doubt a beautiful shade of white. At lunchtime, it was so dark out there, that some of the streetlights were starting to switch on.

The only editing I did to this, was crop a bit off the bottom, and re-size it. In June last year, just prior to a thunderstorm hitting the Black Isle, the view was like this. Since then, one of those "sheds" has been replaced by the much bigger white one.

In the game of attempting to keep semi-fit, the festive period is a large snake, that takes you way back to near the start. Must have landed on ladder today, as I had an excellent swim (for an old boy). Just over a couple of miles, without much bother, and good speed (again, for an old boy). So am now about where I was at the beginning of December, prior to lurgy and festivities. Wasn't easy for the first couple of weeks...
