Elias and Ashleigh

I visited my friend Rose today.  Sadly, she has Alzheimers and is now in a home.

The staff are wonderful, and people like Ashleigh do a lot to brighten the day. She also brightened my day by allowing me to blip her.

Elias is a ninety year old patient who is also in the dementia unit, but has had a rich life.
There was a time when he could speak five languages, but has now reverted to his native Greek. There is a wonderful photo of him working in the vegetable garden a few years ago. Next time I go I might blip that.
