E-Noff's E-Nuff

The children at Bombi Noffnuff's house (see the little door high up?) in Presmennan Wood, East Lothian. When we got to Bombi's house, last night's mud sent Gordon slipping down the slope as Malcolm held on tight. The others watched bemused :)

Big 'Nuff.

What a lovely day! We wakened to a lovely morning with sunshine and light winds, after a fierce night of high winds and pouring rain. We threw on warm clothes and cycled the 5 miles up (and up, and up!) to Pressmennan via Pitcox and Stenton. What troupers :) As we passed various packs of expensive-bike-riding cyclists, we held our heads high and ploughed on. Fit and healthy. Healthy and fit.

Then a walk round the forest, visiting the little folks' houses one after another. As the sun headed west, we were glad that it warmed the south shore of the valley. Chilly!

And home, downhill with the wind behind us. Malcolm especially enjoyed the rollercoaster ride. What goes up, thankfully must come down - much faster!

Then home via the supermarket and Gordon had the great idea of smoothies. So, we headed for the freezers and took home a box of "summer fruits", then some bananas. After a slap-up carbonarra I got the food mixer out and put it in the middle of the table. We took turns chucking ingredients in until we had a decent quantity of yummy pudding. The idea of a smoothie buffet was born, so that's for the next birthday. Which is mine I think :)

Smoothies:
1 kg frozen summer fruits
3 bananas
milk
food processor
