The culprit returns

Big Daddy was around his farm cats this afternoon when I went down to feed them in the barn. He is so fat and I was so glad they were trying to push him away. He is quite cheeky and presumes he can eat with them so I chased him up on to the window ledge and took this shot before he jumped down the other side only to come through the door again!

N and T and O were busy working on putting up the storm breaker netting on the refurbished cattle barns today. The barn roofs are high so as to let the air circulate where the cattle are housed but it can get pretty draughty when the gales blow through so special green netting is stapled under the eaves and down the side facing the sou'westerlies to give some shelter.

I went to town this afternoon and was struck by the every increasing number of Poles now living in the Yeovil area - every other person seems to be speaking Polish in the streets even a group of workmen digging up a pavment. Many of them drive lorries or work in the agricultural industry. I just hope they are happy living here, they certainly work hard.
