A time for everything

Low tide

Monday
Today we went with Roger's sister, Janet to the Wirral Peninsula. We started off with a walk along the low cliffs, overlooking the Dee estuary and looking across to North Wales. Then we found a way down onto the beach and walked back along the beach and then a stretch of the Wirral Way back to the car. We had lunch in a pub, then went on to West Kirby, walked along the front and along the sea wall containing the marine lake and had an ice-cream. Then we continued on to New Brighton and enjoyed the view across to Liverpool. After a grey start, it turned into a really nice day.
