Off the rails

There's a gap in the railings that surround my local park, several are bent and one has been ripped out - this is the space where that railing was.

The bent railings reminded me of my primary school, where children would dare each other to escape from the playing field for a few minutes without being caught by the teachers, or to be used as a short cut on the way home.
