Half Man Half Biscuit

Back in the mid 1980's when I was still at college and Half Man Half Biscuit first emerged, I didn't really get them. I was too busy seriously poring over the lyrics to 23 minute prog rock epics about someone's supper being ready to fully appreciate the wit of 'All I want for Christmas is a Dukla Prague Away Kit'.


Fortunately those proggy pretensions eventually disappeared and Half Man Half Biscuit have become one of my favourite bands, they are always a joy to see live. This was one of their best gigs.
