Little Cock Robin

You're probably wondering why I have a picture of a bird up while in England when there's so much in architecture etc. Well, I've been a bit starved of birds like these in Bahrain and seeing as it was 'count the birds in your garden' day for the RSPB, I counted a robin, a red kite, a blackbird, a magpie, gulls, mallards, a coot and a Canada goose - all in 45 minutes whilst walking around Whiteknights Lake in the grounds of Reading Uni where Mr once studied!

Besides that we spent the day looking at houses - 10 in all - and they were all rather nice!!! Now to make a decision - will return today to see one of our favourites.

It's nice and cold - enjoying wearing all these layers which we don't get much opportunity to do down south! It was cloudy, it was sunny, it rained - all at the same time!! I hear that's what happens in these parts.
