Past Grandeurs

The first time I came to England I was horrified by all the old buildings as it was just so different from SA. Fortunately that opinion was short lived as there is just so much beauty here, as in this door to one of the local houses. Where in South Africa would you ever see a door like that to a simple abode - no, all you'll get to see if you walk along the streets is 7 ft high walls topped with electric fencing! How lucky they are here to still be able to live a burglar guard free existance!
