HD World

We only recently acquired BBC and other HD channels through a Freeview plus box. I am very impressed by the clarity of colour and depth of the HD pictures.

Today, driving from North Lanarkshire to Borders, we were treated to an ongoing High Definition landscape, the early wan, low cloud clearing to show icy blue sky and snow covered domes of the hills gleaming in the distance; with frosted fields and brilliant green in the foreground, it was a joyful experience.

I felt it was fair that there was no safe place to stop the car to blip the best views: you should have to work hard to earn such a reward.
