Oosterse cadeau

Visited the OH's Ma today as it was her birthday on Thursday, but I also received a gift! This old, oriental wooden chest which she has had for years and no longer had use for. I thought it was pretty unique looking so it is now home to my extensive jewellery collection.

No infamous Dutch circle party today, thankfully! Just the three of us enjoying an afternoon together. My highlight being the mokkataart (similar to a coffee layer cake), healthy eating well and truly out of the window today. Sod it.
