Haggis Neeps and Tatties

Burns Night Day celebrations at work - a day too late.

Traditional menu ...I did tatties on the night before and the rest on the day with 2 other chefs.

For the uninitiated:

Neeps = mashed turnips (Swede)
Tatties = mashed potatoes

The recitation of Burn's poetry was of the highest calibre...

...and we were serenaded by The Artist bearing a guitar as well, who had quickly changed out of his kilt styled apron after kitchen duties.

What a splendid lunch it was!
