you are going to get me away from this fire, you've got another thing coming. Suc inspected the cold ashes in the grate this morning as we left the house and gave me a knowing look. He understands the score. He's going to have to wait all day for it to be lit again.

A few things to do this week. Hopefully one of them will be coat of paint no. 1 but it all depends on wether the weather etc...

Another is to get the boiler fixed as we have no hot water. I had to traipse across town with the boys in the rain, a towel over my arm, looking for a friendly house with a spare minute in the shower. Thanks Marisa and Aaron. Emergency plan B will be in operation tomorrow. A working oven would be nice too.
