Arched Reflections

Spent today out with friends.
Weather dull and quite cold, so plenty of scarfs, hats gloves etc. and a walk round RSPB Fairburn Ings.
Not a lot of birds about.
About 6 goldeneye, one redwing, 2 great crested grebes cormorants, swans, tufted ducks, goldfinches, mallards coots, blackbirds, blue tits, great tits, robin, long tailed tit, wren, sparrows, chaffinches, and one yellow hammer!
Actually quite a lot when you add them up! ( But no green woodpeckers or Kingfisher, which is what we were hoping for.)
Anyhow we had a good walk and nice meal at the pub afterwards. Lovely log fire to warm us up!!

I liked the reflections of this railway bridge over the river Calder.
(most of the birds were too far away for my camera to take a good shot.)

Turned very cold tonight. We may get snow tomorrow!
(I would like a nice snowy blip before the winter's over!)
