Droplet

I think I got so carried away by the promise of snow that any blip I published for today that didn't feature a big pile of the white stuff would have been a disappointment to me.

My part of Sussex just got a steady stream of heavy rain overnight. Once it stopped, I popped out into the garden for a shot of another daffodil; this time a bud, with a glistening raindrop on its tip reflecting upside-down foliage.

Looking at the photo today, I should have taken more care with the composition; the window in the background wasn't the effect I was after, but hey, at least I am starting to learn by my mistakes ;-)
