A box of badges

On twitter today someone asked people to post a photo of their favourite pin badge, which resulted in me rooting out my box of badges from the 1970s. I know I have lots more and my sister has just mentioned 'the coffee jar of badges' that may still reside at our parents' house.

Rediscovering that is exciting prospect as we were both avid badge collectors and wore our collections, with great pride, on our denim hats. I still remember the noise they made.

My political studenty badges from the 1980s are somewhere else entirely - maybe they will surface when we find the coffee jar. I will let you know.
