Unlucky Ladybirds?

I thought the lambs-tail catkins in the snow would make an interesting contrast, but I didn't expect to find these two little ladies snuggling in.

For those requiring additional information:

Orange Ladybird: Halyzia 16-guttata Has become more widespread recently as it enjoys living on Sycamore trees.

Seven spot Ladybird: Coccinella 7-punctata Probably the most noticed and familiar ladybird in the UK

Catkins: Hazel tree.

Location: Chilly Chiltern Hills, Hertfordshire. UK.

It's the weekend. Yay!! Red wine & peanuts in front of the fire, too snowy & icy to venture out this evening.

Have a good one, one and all.
