Stonehenge on Frosty Morning

Stonehenge despite large crowds of mostly overseas tourists, felt remarkably numinous this morning in the cold winter's sun.

After all it is a 4,000 year old temple to the sun.

As to whose neolithic or bronze age empire it might represent or who built it and renewed it for 2,000 years from 3500BC to 1500 BC, we shall never know.
