Speed Check

We left St Annes across Lytham Moss, which appeared to be mainly under cultivation with hardly any moss, in good weather, aiming for the K Village in Kendal (where we kept an eye out for Gladders' 'Kendal Three', but they did not show for us, either). There was noticeably more crisp snow around there.

Finding ourselves in the wrong lane leaving the town we ended up on the Windermere road, which we have travelled before when we fell foul of these speed cameras at Ings which are cunningly placed in the central reservation rather than the verge. We were better behaved this time and proceded without incident. The Kirkstone Pass was covered in thick fog but we emerged to very little snow and apart from fog over the Borders arrived home in time to freshen up before going out for B's birthday dinner - only six weeks late.

Back blipped for Saturday.
