Pina

Continuing with the dance-themed weekend, I went to see the movie Pina at the IFC theater tonight. I thought it was an incredible portrait of Pina Bausch and her work. I didn't know much before going into the theater, and I think I came out with a good idea of what she was all about. The movie shows some very creative movements that you might not even think of as dance, but she integrates it all beautifully. I saw it in 3D, which I don't think is essential.
