Camera Obscura

It is not often one gets to handle the real thing. Our oldest grandson who moved in wit us a week ago is an artist of his own. He made this Camera Obscura a few years ago and this is the first I hear of it.
Google it if you are not sure what it is - but as a photographer you should!
The camera is to the left and it is open. The small window has a aluminium from a soda can with a hole from a needle to let the light through. The knob is to slide down and close the window and the hole. Exposure takes about five minutes.
The lid is to the right and that is were you put the paper in and then you close - of cause in total darkness.
The negative picture in front is one of the pictures he took with the camera - so it works!
