Squonk-A-Day

By Squonk

Finally!

It has been a few days since I've managed an update here. There's a lot going on in life at the moment and I was very keen to get out a bit and chill over the weekend.

"Chilling" was no problem. Cold? Heck yes.

I managed to pop out to one of my "usual haunts", the ruined church at Knaptoft in Leicestershire. I don't have time right now to type up loads of history of this place, but I believe it was demolished by the Parliamentary army as they pursued the Royalists back to Leicester following the Battle of Naseby in 1645.
