About me? What would anyone want to know about me? Okay, well I'm this guy who lives in Leicestershire in the UK and who loves his photography.

I did a 365 project in the past, but I didn't fancy doing another one - at least not so soon. I thought this might feel a bit more relaxed.

I shoot with whatever I can get my hands on. My main body is an EOS 7D, but there's also my old 20D and a little Fuji compact and a 1945 vintage Rolleiflex and an EOS 500N and an EOS 300V and a Richoh GR1s and some old Olympus digital compact which occasionally gets used - even my phone from time to time.

I also love my history and prehistory - The Past. If you want to know where you're going it's easier if you know where you've already been - or something like that. The lives of ordinary people throughout the ages are what interests me - everyday details of life.

I love getting outdoors, hiking, hill walking - just feeling "away from it all".

And I love it best of all when I can share these things with my friends, over a glass of something maybe.
