Blackburn Cathedral.

I am glad to say that after a few low light days , the sun is bright and lovely this morning.Paul drove my daughter Maria and me to shop in Blackburn and I just knew it was time to Blip the cathedral.
It is dedicated way back to Mary the Mother of Jesus and embraced very old and very modern architecture.
There is exquisite tradtional stained glass inside, and the local people contributed to a beautiful lantern of abstract coloured glass above the altar, marvellous to see on a sunny day when the reflected colours pour out all around. So heavenly .
