Swings & Roundabouts

Met some friends at the swing park this afternoon. Heres Al and one of them swinging rather too enthusiastically, while her younger sister looks on, bemused!

The children had a great time charging about. Lucy and I agreed that it was easy to spend an hour at the swings if you have someone to talk to - but impossible to spend more than 15 minutes there if you are on your own. We did end up freezing though, and went for coffee afterwards to warm up.

Swimming again this morning. Al was jumping off the diving podium and very pleased with himself. Betsy has lifesaving tecniques tomorrow and has to take a pair of pyjamas to swim in. I wonder if she'll have to dive to the bottom to retreive a brick like I did? I remember it - Bronze Survival it was called, in hushed tones.
