Rope Lights

We put up rope lights on our patio for Christmas and have kept them up ever since due to the nice, friendly glow they give off. They make our patio unique in the complex and are always a welcome sight when we return from dinner or a movie. I decided they would make a worthy subject when I spied them through the curtains and noticed how they appeared to be in and out of focus. It took me quite a few shots to get one that captured the same look in the camera that I had seen through the curtains and had a pleasing compositional curve at the same time.
