Sacre Bleu!

Nottingham to Paris by Eurostar is a bit of a long haul but a lot less effort than getting the plane. We didn't really know what to expect from our 'apartment' at the foot of Montmartre but it turned out to be really nice - a proper Parisian apartment; stylish, comfy... and massive! The area was pretty good too - far enough away from Pigalle to be relatively quiet but still cool, with loads of funky shops and cafes and boulangeries.

Not much time for pictures, but we made the early evening pilgrimage up the hill and I managed by a lucky accident of the light to get a nice shot of Sacre Coeur in shades of blue... Plus we had a fabulous tea in a really nice Breton creperie round the corner from the Hotel!
