seeing things

I could have taken advantage of the wingpiglet and Nicky being out at a birthday party for much of the day by steaming off somewhere interesting to enjoy the cold, possibly picking up a parcel from the sorting office and sourcing a muffin and coffee from somewhere on the way, but instead lurked in the general area of the loft so that things could be shuffled about and hoicked and slid and sawn and drilled in order to create a little bit more space now that some of the things preventing the installation of loft-flooring have been remediated.
