Dear daughter was right about the heart shaped tin. It was perfect for the Red Velvet Cake she'd planned to make for the Edinburgh Cake Ladies event this evening. So thanks again to Michelle at Tea at 94 for lending it to us.
I made Nigel Slater's Beetroot Seed cake which was an attempt by me to make a healthier cake as we were after all meeting at Earthy Foods and Goods, and I thought it appropriate to use locally grown produce.
