Keeping me company

This little chap has been keeping me company today while I have been gardening. It was wonderful to hear his song as I moved around from one job to another. He was still singing at 4.30pm when this was taken.
I also heard a skylark singing when the sun was out mid-morning.
This sort of day makes me realise how I am affected by the seasons; I'm definitely a spring/summer person! Once the days start lengthening I am outside as much as possible and rarely come into the house before dark.
