Looking very puffed up and pleased with himself... I was out for my usual lunchtime blipwander along the Water of Leith (spotting ArcLight speeding past on her bike!) and not seeing many opportunities for a photo until this fellow and his missus.

They were in a place where I haven't seen bullfinches before, so I hope that means the population is spreading out. He may be a young one; that salmony pink is not as bright as they sometimes are...
