Jupiter and Venus

Enough of all that black and white already. Loads of nice colour about today, and this evening too.

Persuaded Euan to 'assist' on this down The Shore tonight. Headed down there in plenty of time to catch the Space Station zoom past Jupiter and Venus. It was cold and it was well breezy but got in position in good time to snap the pass at 18:49. Gorillapod wrapped around a suitably stationary railing (tripod was wobbling in the wind), camera levelled, remote attached, gloves on to stop fingers falling off, etc. This test shot was taken at 18:45. Guess what? That big bastardin' cloud wafted in from the right perfectly in sync with the ISS's fly past. And then it chucked down some of the wet stuff on top of us to really rub it in.

The best laid planets of mice and men, and all that.
