Flood

I knew there were some flooding issues, but didn't realize this particular part of the Green River (of serial killer fame) was this far up. This is the duck pond that I like to frequent, one of the trees to the right is the one the sapsucker likes to frequent. You can see a path leading to the right, and one forward, by either way you can circumnavigate the pond, but today you'd need at least hip-waders. The mallards, who are normally friendly, looked at me and dashed away today, I think my bumbershoot worried them.

Hmm...are any of you True Crime readers? I could do a quick blip tour of Green River sites. One is right across the levee road from here...
