Malham Tarn

Say hello to the highest lake in England (1237ft above sea level). It's a very special place but shhh don't tell anyone about how beautiful it is!

The glacial lake is a Site of Special Scientific Interest a National Nature Reserve, a Ramsar Convention site and is also in the Craven Limestone Complex Special Area of Conservation. Phew that's quite a list.

Despite its star appearance on the BBC Malham wasn't too busy and the tarn even less so. I didnt meet anyone for 10 miles apart from a very angry looking sheep and also a pack of hounds on a hunt!

As mentioned last week there is a cottage in Malham for sale in my price range! I saw it from the outside today, tomorrow I have a viewing! Living there is an utter dream. It's so hard not to get excited.
