Fun in the Fens

Coronation Road

Well that could certainly pass for having been a Spring day.

I took the Brompton out for a spin. Some days it is just the right bike to use, particularly if you want to stop and take photos. It helps though if you remember you've fitted the frame clip to stop it folding up automatically, and more to the pint, that you can remember that having fitted the clip you have to undo tit to make the bike fold when you want it to.

The amazing thing at this time of year is that it brings out the colour of the bare tree trunks. This, of course, is completely lost in a black and white photograph.

This particular tree is on one of my favourite lanes. I'm not sure how it came to have the grandiose title of Coronation Road. It leads straight through a farmyard and then down through traditional English parkland with livestock grazing in the shade of the trees.

The lambs are looking quite well grown now. Delicious Delightful. The sheep in Church Field are still to lamb, I must try and get some shots next week.
