Primrose

An odd day today, some sun, some sleet/graupel, some snow, and now we're back to sun again. Same birds at the feeder story today. Decided to go out front when it was sleeting and do a little macro on my primrose that's in bloom.

On the food front, fresh homemade French vanilla ice cream in the freezer (all local except the fair trade sugar and the vanilla bean). Now attempting to make New Orleans style barbecue shrimp with the gulf shrimp I got in my CSA. I've been doing quite the cooking experimentation lately, and I'm on a successful streak. Shrimp smells good so far, wishing I had more than a pound of it now.
