A Writer's Life

I'm getting reacquainted with winter. And enjoying every minute of it. It isn't really cold, at least not by February standards, but there are a few flurries here and there (it supposed to snow more all week, and it's just for me), and I couldn't resist a tiny walk in the Parc Lafontaine. I used to live right by the Parc, and would walk through it on my way to and from university.

There were dogs playing, squirrels running, kids playing in the school yard, people skating on the pond. It was Montreal on a Monday. And it was exactly what I needed.
