Sunday Performance

Our 6 year-old next door neighbor, Amaya, was a member of the featured act at this Sunday's basketball court performance. The crowd filled the concrete seats surrounding the court by the time things got underway making good photos difficult. Regardless, I took dozens trying for the right mixture of expression, sharpness, and suggestion of motion. I liked how her arms conveyed motion in this shot, while her facial features are sharp, showing her high level of concentration during this very public performance.
