Two years of blipping

100 blips was special, one year of blipping was a milestone. You get to a time in your life when a birthday is just another day, maybe not at two, but there was nothing special planned for today apart from sorting out the photos from yesterday and getting packed for heading home tomorrow. So we decided a quick visit to Scone Palace to have a search for the Hawfinches again might tick a couple of boxes - get us a new bird for our year list and get us a decent photo for blip.

We were in luck with the Hawfinches this time, finding a flock of over twenty high up in the trees. Check out RCB's Blip for the photo - that's the year list up to 110, quite respectable as we're definitely not "doing" a year list this year. As we continued our walk round Mrs L started signing to me. I couldn't understand what she was on about until I saw that just beside her were half a dozen peacocks. Well actually two peacocks, two peahens, a white peacock and a white peahen. So that's the two year blip photo sorted - a white peacock among the snowdrops.

Usual anniversary stuff, we all say it and that in itself proves how true it is. Thanks to the guys who do the tecky stuff that make this site possible, but really it comes down to the users to make the site what it is, a community that it's a pleasure to be part of.

I've been good of recent, not drifting into backblips, but a lazy Sunday then a late night with 800+ photos means I've a couple of backblips for you:
