Edinburgh's Blitz

This is the record kept by an Edinburgh family in their make shift bomb shelter during the second world war. Every time they were in the specially reinforced cupboard under the stairs they would write the date, duration and time of the air raids.

The dates range over almost a year from September to September 1940 - 41

Haven't had time to sense check the dates against any official records but I'm intrigued and will explore further. I'm not really 'into' history per se but when you find something so personal and real as this it gives a fascinating real life perspective.
