Potting

Some of the crew on the farm today were getting ready to plant seeds in pots.
Even Harisen got in on the act,helping out.

Here is a weekly report from Lusangazi farm.
Date:25 to 2nd March 2012.
ACTIVITIES DONE WERE AS FOLLOWS:
> Watering in green houses.
> Clearing the road.
> Clearing all around dams.
> Potting.
> Planting Loquats.
> Sowing mangoes.
> Sowing Avocados
> Disuckering in green houses.
> Platting sweet potatoes.
> Planting Acacia and Mahogany trees
REMARKS:
> We are doing well and the co-operation is also great for every one.
> The idea of employing of some day workers are going on well.
> We are very happy because more places(areas) are cleared and on more Weeds.
> We are concentrating on sowing seed on the Horticulture chart.
ON SALES:
> No sales.
EXPENDITURES:
> We have completed the number of pineapples according to the chart.
> Number of pineapple needed was 100.
> At first we bought 46 Pineapples improved ones and remaining 54.
> Charles brought 4 pineapples to make it 50 pineapples improved ones.
> 50 have been already planted.
> Now we have bought 50 pineapples at K 70 kwacha each.
> The total is K 3500.00.
> On 26th February 2012, We have also bought the remaining seeds of Mangoes to meet the target of the chart.
> The amount was K 3000.00.
> ALL TOTAL EXPENDITURE IS K 6500.00.
