Concert

Today I went to the summer concert with Yuri Bashmet (viola/conductor), the Moscow Solists, Katia Skanavi (piano) and Vladislav Lavrik (trumpet). It was a really lovely concert, very good quality play!
This is what was played:
* Igor Stravinsky - Apollon musagète
* Dmitri Shostakovich - 1st piano concert in C, op. 35
* Dmitri Shostakovich - Viola sonata, op. 147 (arr. A. Levkovich)
* Igor Stravinsky - Concerto in D
My favourite was the 1st piano concert of Shostakovich, but as I said, the whole concert was great :)

The pic above is of the concert hall (Concertgebouw) in Amsterdam. As you might be able to see, I was not allowed to take any photos during the concert. I took this one just before it started. It is an amazing concert hall, very good acoustics!
