Threw a baby shower for Lauren today. This is a new experience for me - never attended one let alone organise one!

Happy to say it was a great success with traditional (ish) party games such as 'Pin the dummy on the baby' (not literally), and grown up party bags. A lot of planning, a lot of people, lots of food and drink - and lots of snow. She had a fab time.

Took this picture of one of the centre pieces and realised the picture behind shows me with my baby - and I have no idea where all that time has gone. But so looking forward to life's next stage of grandparent hood. I hear it's a lot of fun :-)
