All Spruced Up

Another grey and rainy day. According to the weather report there's going to be some snow tomorrow. Oh dear...

I've been busy all morning and was tired when I came home in the afternoon. First I thought about taking a nap, but then I decided to take a walk instead. So I put on my walking shoes and a waterproof beanie and went outside. All sleepiness was forgotten after a few minutes! I was almost alone in the park, the cold and rain seem to keep people away. That's fine by me; it makes blipping so much easier.

This Mandarin Duck drake gave himself a thorough grooming while his lady friend looked on- quite a fascinating sight I thought ;-)
