The Difference a Day Makes

Amazing what some sunshine will do! The Daffodil bud of yesterday's blip unfurled in the face of the sun this afternoon. And what a lovely, frilly face it has; such a welcome sight of bright lemon-yellow. I was outside cleaning out dead leaves & such in the garden closest to the house & it felt wonderful! It was almost 70 F!! I couldn't have planned a better day off than this, weather-wise.

After Hannah got home from school, a lady from an English Setter rescue I've been interested in came by. She brought her friend's Setter along to the visit to see how we'd intereact. She stole our hearts--even Bailey's. If they can find a dog just like her, I'd adopt on the spot!! She is what they call a "Pocket Setter", a smaller scale at under 40 lbs. with the softest white fur with a tinge of orange Belton markings. So, so sweet & good-natured. That completes the home visit, phone interview & vet check...so, we are hoping they can find us a good match now.
