Above Rocher Head

This edge isn't given a name on the OS map, but the area below it is known as Rocher. It's a good place for buzzard watching when the thermals are right, but today was a bit gusty. We had the cobwebs blown away here this afternoon and watched lapwings doing their spring aerobatics and whooping. We also saw our first pair of curlew of the new year. It feels like spring when they arrive up on the high ground ready to reclaim their territory.
