Day 70 - Happy as a pig in....

So today is the day we finally decided to tackle our jungle of a garden! We have had so much to do to the house since we moved in that the garden has ended up taking a back seat. Well not any more! There is sooooo much to do - it's a rather big garden and it's fantastic, but it needs a lot of work and a lot of tidying up. It's a very mature garden, which is lovely, but there's so much light blocked by trees and bushes that it just needs a huge clear out.

We ripped a lot out of it today, which is normally something I would never want to do, but it's necessary! H loved helping us with his trowel - he was absolutely filthy by the end of it!

There was only one thing for it at the end of all the hard work - a walk round to the local pub for a few well deserved beers and a pub tea!
